We have loved this warm weather! Summer is officially in full swing, and we can't seem to get enough of being outside. Priya loves being outdoors, and it is so fun when we get to introduce her to new things and explore the world with her. Everything is new and exciting for Andrew and I because it is new and exciting for Priya.
We have been finding a lot of small activities to do around town, and have kept busy with our yard and house, and spending time with family. I have been working on getting all of my paperwork filled out to receive my diploma and am contemplating looking for a job. Andrew is continuing to move up the chain of command at work, and was just asked to be the head of the patient satisfaction committee on his floor.
Priya got her FIRST haircut last week! We took her to Cookie Cutters, which I would absolutely suggest for kids haircuts (http://www.haircutsarefun.com/). They were great with her, even when she decided she did NOT like getting her haircut. They have fun activities for the kids to do while their hair is being cut (Priya got to watch Elmo, which she wasn't interested in) and sit in a car. They gave Priya a balloon afterwards (which she probably didn't really deserve. If anyone deserved a balloon, it was the stylist). I am sure the lady who cut her hair was glad to be finished. All of Priya's wiggling and turning to see what was going on and her complaining and yelling did not make for an easy cut.

At the beginning: still okay, but not quite sure about it

Very unhappy
I decided to spare you the pictures of Andrew holding her head in place while the stylist finished up.
Drumroll please...
