Erik's Eagle Project

Last weekend, Erik completed his Eagle Project. About 5 years back, some scouts accidentally set a forest fire at East Fork of the Bear that burned thousands of acres. For Erik's project, her raised enough money to buy 2010 trees, which he then coordinated planting them up at East Fork of the Bear to help reduce the impact that this forest fire had on the area up there. It was a lot of work, and we are so proud of him for accomplishing it!

He coordinated his project with a scout camping trip. Andrew, my dad, Christian, and Paul stayed up over the weekend to help out. My mom, Priya, and I went up on Saturday to spend the day. Besides planting trees, there was fishing (it was free fishing day) and shooting. We had so much fun and Priya loved being outdoors. It makes me so excited to take her camping this summer. Fundraising the money

Priya snuggling Namama. I hope my mom enjoyed it, because that doesn't happen very often (Priya is NOT a snuggler).
