10 Months!

I can't believe our sweet Priya is ten months old! Time goes by so fast! I am afraid to blink because I might miss something!

It is so fun watching her grow and learn. She now says, "baba" for bottle (no surprise her first word would have something to do with food) and "yeah!" I think she has started saying "Mama" and "Dada" the past few days, but I am not sure enough to count it yet.

She is trying all kinds of foods now, and really loves it all. She also loves to play with balls, dogs and cats, and she loves her binkie. She loves to play with the phone and the remote control, and her favorite things to do right now are trying to put shoes and hats on, say "I don't know" by turning her hands upwards and shrugging her shoulders, turning pages in her books, taking bows and rubber bands out of her hair, and pretending to talk on the phone. She also loves climbing stairs and trying to peel the back off of the kitchen rug and eat it, much to her mommy's dismay.

She loves playing with her Daddy and her Namama (my mom). She is all smiles and giggles and hates taking naps. She stands and "cruises" as she is holding onto furniture, and tries to climb on things, but she isn't standing or walking yet on her own. She loves swimming and going for walks, which we plan on doing a lot of this summer!

Since we were out of town, we missed her 9 month check up, and we ended up not getting her in until ten months, so here are her 10 month stats:

Height: 2'3" (14.35%)
Weight: 18 lbs 14 oz (33.6%)
Head Circumfrence: 17.4" (42.03%)

So, she is a pretty small baby, especially her height. She is ahead developmentally, at 12-13 months.

Priya at her 10 month check-up with Dr. Cline- not very excited!
Swimming at Grandma's pool- her favorite thing to do!

With Grandma- one of her favorite people!

Priya was "helping" me put her laundry away. I am not sure how this happened, but I thought it was way cute! Clothespin anyone?

Signing up for the library summer reading program so she can earn a free book!

One thing we discovered she does not like is the Jazz Bear. Broke poor Andrew's heart. I have no idea who the random guy is that jumped into the picture...

The Jazz Bear scared her so bad that for the rest of the day, anything that looked like an abnormal animal had her on edge (like this fish shaped balloon). Good thing Uncle Christian was there to rescue her.

We are so glad we have our sweet Miss Priya!
