Andrew decided he wanted to get into the Disney Princess thing too... doesn't he make a cute Cinderella?

Disneyland Cont'd

It's a Small World... gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous.

I even had my own dressing room in Toon Town, until some redheaded lady in a purple dress came and kicked me out.

Driving our new car around Toon Town

Poor Priya couldn't go on Indiana Jones, so she had to stay out with Grandpa and Uncle David. Yes, that is Priya in that stroller. That was the only way we could get her to sleep in Disneyland.

Trying to kiss Mr. Toad. In reality, she's just looking up his nose...

Look mom... Disneyland really IS the happiest place on earth!

On one of Priya's favorite rides... Casey Jr. She also liked the Winnie the Pooh ride, and she loved the Haunted Mansion (should I be worried? LOL.)

This was the best we could do... too pooped to pose

Thanksgiving

We were in California for Thanksgiving. No traditional turkey and stuffing for us this year. It was well worth it though, and we still got to be around some of the people we love so much! Our restaurant of choice for Thanksgiving...

Denny's! Nothing better than a Thanksgiving Grand Slam!

The Beach

The last day of our trip, we went to the beach. It was a nice change from theme parks, and it was so much fun! The day was gorgeous, but a little chilly. It was about 65 degrees, making it the coldest day of our trip. That didn't stop very many of us from getting into the water, though. The waves were enormous! Andrew, Jason, Rachel, Paul and my mom going out to the big waves
Christian

Stacy and Priya snuggling- they were both cold

Paul sitting on the beach

Priya's first visit to the beach... she slept most of the time, and it was
too cold for her to be in the water!

Our new house!

We finally closed on a house! It is in Sandy. It is a Cape Cod style home with a big yard and we love it! We will post more pictures later... but here are a few for now...

Priya just wanted to show everyone how smart she is...

Priya's first hair do...

We are trying to cope with "winter hair"

Young Women in Excellence

We had our yearly Young Women in Excellence last night. It was so much fun! It is amazing to see the projects that our young women did this year! They amaze me. I love my calling!

Our theme was "Everything I needed to know I learned in Young Women's" We decorated the room like a classroom.

Some of the girls dressed up like school girls...

We gave them a "school survival kit" and made it look like a sack lunch

The leaders dressed up like teachers... do these glasses make me look smart? LOL.

We had Sister Anderson in the ward come and speak on the theme and she gave us "homework." For refreshments, we got styrofoam cafeteria trays, juice boxes and some other school lunch type of foods. We put a sign on the door that said, "welcome to school" and put value letter signs on the walls. We put name tags by their seats. It was so cute!

School Days Young Women

Here is a file of a lot of the stuff we used on the walls... I got the cute young women value pictures from Debanae's free clip art at www.debanae.net
