Our sweet nephew, Daniel, turned 9 this month. I can't believe he is so old. I don't feel old enough to have a nephew that age! He is such a great guy, and such a good helper for his little sister and little brothers. He is so mature for his age, and he seems like he is 9 going on 20! To celebrate his birthday, his family had a bowling party and a BBQ. Unfortunately, my bowling skills have taken a hit since I had Priya (probably due to the fact that we hadn't been bowling in forever). I think I would have fit in better on the bumper-lane with the little kids. Andrew played great, and Priya even got in on the action. She loved the balls.

Strike!

Yours truly getting ready to show off some mad bowling skills

We also discovered that bowling can teach a lot about life...
bowling can teach perspective
It teaches patience...
and how to deal with disappointment
Team workAnd last but not least, fashion sense. Just check out those shoes!
