Joanna and some of her friends invited me on a girl's weekend at the end of September. It was so fun spending time with Joanna and getting to know some of her girlfriends better. What a great group of ladies!
We rented a condo for the weekend, and spent our time eating some amazing cheese and chocolate fondu, going out to eat, playing games, going to a play at the Tuacahn Ampitheatre, and hiking in Zion's National Park. Unfortunately, I only got pictures of Zion's, so you will have to use your imagination for the rest of the weekend!

In Zion's, we hiked Angel's Landing. For those of you who are unfamiliar with Zion's, Angel's Landing is probably the most well-known hike in the park (along with the Slot Canyons), and by far the scariest for someone who can be squeamish about heights!
Everything about Zion's National Park is beautiful. We are so lucky to live in a state with so many wonderful parks! Some pictures of the beauty in the park:

What? We are going up there?

It's hard to tell from the above picture, but this is a part of the trail called the "saddle." There are sheer drop-offs on both sides- one is 800 feet, the other is 12oo feet.
This sign about sums up the whole hike
We made it to the top! Amazing!

You know a hike is scary when they have to provide chains to hold onto so you don't fall off the cliff. The descent back down:
