National Jamboree

My dad, Erik, Christian, and Paul went back east to the National Jamboree. They left on July 19th. They have been touring New York, DC, etc. as well. It seems like it has been an amazing experience for them (not gonna lie, I'm a little jealous!). They are with Jamboree Troop 613, which my dad is in charge of. It has been a lot of work and stress for him, but what great memories they are creating!

I personally think that my dad is either really brave, a little crazy, or both. I would NOT want to be in charge of that many teenage boys, hundreds of miles away from home, in such big cities!

I have posted some pictures from their trip so far- these were taken off of the blog that Christian is doing for the troop while they are back there.

Erik posted on facebook last night that he is having a blast and wishes he could live in DC.

Paul- I think he is in Independence Hall

  1. My husband's grandpa usually goes to the jambories and carves bolo ties. You should ask your brothers if he was there. He's getting a little old so I'm not sure he still goes, but he is amazing!
