Christmas 2010

On a scale from 1 to 10, this year's Christmas would have been a 9.5. It was almost perfect! The only downers to our day was that Priya 1. fell down the stairs on Christmas day (but is luckily okay) and 2. was sick the week before (with the stomach flu and a cold and earache), and sick the week after (with strep). You'd think that she was licking door handles lately with how often she has been getting sick!

I guess you could say that our Christmas was like Mary Poppins.
"Practically perfect in every way!" We, like so many other families, have the tradition of Christmas PJ's. Here is Priya sitting in front of the Christmas tree with her new PJ's on Christmas Eve

Priya has the best of both worlds. She has lots of fun cousins to play with on one side of the family, and on the other side, she is the only grandchild (which means her grandparents, aunt, and uncles spoil her like crazy). Here is Priya in her new U of U dress from Uncle Paul, and sitting in her new chair from Uncle Christian (which he made)!

Later on Christmas Day, we did something we have never done before. After having dinner at my Aunt Lisa's house, we went to a movie (Chronicles of Narnia) with my family and the Turners. It was a little weird for us, but Christmas hasn't been the same since Grandma passed away, and it was still nice to get together and see each other. I am so blessed to have such a close family!

It turned out to be really fun, and I would definitely do it again.
On Sunday, the day after Christmas, we had a party at my house with my whole extended family. My Aunt April flew in from New Jersey to visit us, and it was so fun to see her.
