We love you Uncle David

Uncle David and Stacy in November at the beach

Well, it's been a really long time since I have blogged, partly because I have been dreading it. My wonderful Uncle passed away on January 12, and I knew that I couldn't just blog and not say anything about it and pretend that it didn't happen, but I am still struggling with the loss so much that sometimes it is easier not to think about it, so I have been avoiding blogging all-together.

My Uncle David was such a wonderful person, and although I miss him so much, I am so glad that I got the opportunity to have him in my life. My cousin stated at the funeral that he knew that there was nobody in that room that my Uncle was ever unkind to, and when I heard my cousin say that, I knew without a doubt it was true, even though I didn't know many people in the room. He was the epitomy of Christlike love, and I was so blessed to know him. I hope that I can have half the kindness in my heart as he did. I miss him so much, but I am so grateful that families are forever.

A picture my cousin Carrie drew of Uncle David... amazing!
