Somebody told me once that you can spend years looking for the right one to love for the rest of your life, and yet, when you have a child, it is love at first sight. That is so true! We can't even remember what life was like without her!
It is amazing how much personality they have when they are first born! Priya has some funny habits already, like holding her pinky fingers out when the rest of her fist is closed. She loves listening to music, and she is fascinated with lights. She loves being held... but I'll explain more about that later! We had a bassinett for her, but she hates sleeping in it, so for the first few weeks, she slept in a boppy pillow on our bed. She now sleeps in her swing. The bassinett is still in our room, but it has been demoted to a handy bedside table. 
She loves going for walks, and she absolutely HATES being confined in her carseat. For the first few weeks, she would scream when we put her in it, but now I think she has figured out that when she is in it, it means she is going somewhere, so she tolerates it, but she always gives us a very dirty look when we put her in it!
Priya is also very grunty. She grunts all the time. Andrew jokes that she likes to make it look like she is doing all of the work. She is a little drama queen! Hopefully she isn't still like this when she is a teenager or else we are in trouble! She grunts when she poops, when you pick her up, when she eats, when you dress her, and I even think she sometimes grunts just when you look at her!
