New Year's Day at Henry's

Henry, one of my dad's friends, always has an amazing, authentic, Japanese lunch on New Year's Day. He didn't disappoint this year!

We discovered that Priya loves gum (or the wrapper at least!). Poor Paul did not want it back
when Priya was done with it!

New Year's Eve

For New Year's, we went down to my Aunt Lisa's and Uncle Jim's house. We had some scrumptious pizza and had fun playing games with family. Jason's family was able to come up from Texas for Christmas this year, and we had so much fun with them as a part of our family!

Happy New Year's Priya!

Black Christmas Party

My Aunt April and Aunt Cydnee were able to fly out to Utah from New Jersey for Christmas this year. It was so fun to see them! We were sad that Uncle Brett couldn't make it, but he was lucky enough to spend Christmas in sunny Brazil this year.

Teething is in full force, hence the drooly dress!

These pictures are getting a lot more difficult to take now that Priya is more mobile and actually takes interest in things, like paper!

Davies Christmas Party

Andrew's mom and sister both had to work on Christmas this year, so we had our Davies Christmas Party on December 26th.

Opening Gifts

We normally open our gifts on Christmas morning, but Katie had to work this year (she is a CNA), so we opted to wait until Christmas night to open gifts, much to Paul's and Christian's chagrin.

Christmas at our house

Busy, Busy, Busy

Wow! Christmas came and went so fast. We hardley had time to relax and enjoy it this year. We moved in a few weeks before Christmas, and we started painting and updating some things in our house. This meant we didn't even get our tree decorated until Christmas Eve! This was especially hard for me because I love the Christmas season so much! We had some fun parties at our house over Christmas weekend, but soon we will be back to painting!

A couple of days before Christmas...

Wow! Grandpa Asay is 90!

In December, Grandpa Asay turned 90 years old. It is amazing to think of what he has seen in his life! Most of the family got together for his birthday party, including a lot of family members from out of state. It was fun to see everyone again. Happy birthday Grandpa Asay! I hope Andrew got your genes...

Congrats Dad!

As many of you know, my dad is an avid scouter. He has dedicated hours and hours to Boy Scouting, and he is truly passionate about it. He has made a difference in many people's lives. He was nominated for scouting's highest award, the Silver Beaver, and he was one of the very few people that was selected for this honor. He will be receiving the reward sometime in March. We surprised him at one of his scouting meetings with the news.

Three teen uncles can be scary!

"Hey Priya, your uncles are coming over to play with you!"
See the terror in her eyes? (Insert scary music here)
Why is Priya so scared?

'nuff said.

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

" I'm all ready for the snow, mom!"

Building a snowman? Nope. Getting snow for a jump.

We love our Priya
